If you use this, I'd love it if you dropped me a comment - even if it's just a link.
Should work fine in Firefox and IE, haven't tested on other browsers - then again there aren't any images, only CSS. I mainly only touch CSS when school assignments requires it and even then I always focus more on the graphics than the code; this was a kind of challenge for myself to make something without Photoshop. Feedback much appreciated.
A huge, huge thanks to ^ginkgografix and `thespook for helpful tuts and advice.

To insert a title/quote like I did in the preview ("Please read..."), use div tags like these without the spaces:< div class = "title" > Your quote/title < / div>
To insert a pagebreak (the blue line dividing the text and the thumbs), use< hr >
without the spaces.
To use the thumb gallery, use this code (again, no spaces):< div class="minigal" > :thumb####: :thumb####: :thumb####: :thumb####: ...etc< /div>
Code for this is from `thespook - I only did some slight color modifications. You can read more about the minithumbs on his journal here: [link]
To modify the menu, go to the Options tab while you're editing your journal. You'll find the menu in the Skin Header section - replace the # with your own links and name the list items approprietly.
You may add as many items you want to the menu (it's a horizontal list, by the way, that's why I call it "list items") or remove them altogether - either way it should work fine.
You may change the colors or modify the skin in any way you like.
I will probably make more color variations, so you're free to come with requests (as long as they're not "I want one exactly like this, only with the links in a different color). Also please check my gallery to make sure I haven't done that color before.

Hi Eilo I was wondering if you could help me out?
I copied this journal skin and have only change the red to a pale blue (on hover and such), everything else should be the same. However, my title is the default DA Green colour? While editing the journal, it is white, but once updated and 'published' it goes green. I've tried looking for the code area for the title but I'm not fluent with CSS. Could you point me in the right direction? <3 Thankyou so much in advance!
The journal I am currently trying to fix;

The people are lead by a monarchy, with one royal bloodline holding the throne for a dozen generations. King ? rules with a fierce loyalty to his people, and with his guard high against his neighboring countries of Baerin and Rhamar. There is an impending threat to the nation of Dreadmire. Their mines are the source of 90% of their trade, but eventually those resources will run dry. With no fertile land, harsh climates, uninhabitable land, and nothing to trade, the country will eventually fall into poverty. For this reason, the royal family are fighting tirelessly to secure more land. However, negotiations are f
